Children have been creating fantastic city-scapes from recycled materials at the SCAPE Kids build a recyclable city workshops.
Children aged between six and twelve attended a workshop on 5 November at Creative Junk in Disraeli Street and created everything from tower cranes to circus-cities at the hour and a half workshop.
“Creative Junk is such a fantastic venue” said one mother “the children were delighted with the resources that they had available to them and at the end of the workshop they didn’t want to come home!”
Limited spaces are still available in the final workshop on 19 November. Further details at http://www.scapebiennial.org.nz/scape-education-programme
